Introduction to the Termeh Board Project
The Termeh Board luminous element is one of the custom-designed projects engineered, manufactured, and installed by Erfan Sanat in the city of Kerman. In this project, traditional Termeh patterns were cut onto metal sheets using CNC technology and crafted into a 3-meter luminous element.
The greatest challenge in constructing outdoor urban elements is premature wear and rapid degradation. Therefore, during the execution of this project, our technical team’s primary focus was on three key principles: high structural integrity of the metal framework, the use of 100% waterproof lighting equipment, and securing the electrical panel. The result is a structure that operates for years in various weather conditions without the need for constant repairs.
Metal Structure and Foundation Specifications
In the design of urban elements, the large dimensions of the structure require precise engineering calculations. For a 3-meter tall structure, beauty is only the surface; the vital part of the project is its resistance to wind and environmental conditions. For this reason, in the Termeh Board project, we built the main skeleton using heavy industrial profiles and thick metal sheets. The foundation was also designed specifically to match the high weight of the element so that the structure is completely anchored to the ground and placed at the highest possible level of physical safety.
Structure and Metal Body of the Element
- Foundation Execution: The bases of this structure are completely and securely anchored to the ground with professional foundation engineering.
-
Structural Dimensions: This element is built with a height of 3 meters and a width of 2 meters, and the width and depth of its body is 25 cm.
-
Main Skeleton: The chassis of this structure is made using industrial profiles and a metal mesh.
-
Body Design: Termeh patterns are cut onto metal sheets using CNC machines.
-
Structural Weight: The final weight of each frame is 350 kg.
LED Strips and Element Cabling
The lighting of the Termeh element was one of the most important parts of the construction due to the high footage of LED strips used. To prevent circuit shorts or premature burnout in outdoor environments, all focus was placed on using fully insulated strips and professional cabling so that the structure remains stable in Kerman’s various weather conditions and avoids constant repair costs.
Specifications of the Consumed LED Strips
To ensure the beautiful Termeh design is well visible at night, we used a combination of three different types of LED strips. This combination allows the structure to both shine from a distance and show its details from close up.
-
Strip Length: The illumination of this structure was completed by installing 660 meters of LED string lights to create light density, 210 meters of neon strips to highlight the Termeh form, and 45 meters of rope lights.
-
LED Type: All these strips are equipped with Epistar chips, which ensures that the light intensity does not drop over time and power fluctuations do not cause the circuit to burn.
-
Light Color: For the lighting system of this structure, a warm white color with a color temperature of 2400 Kelvin has been considered.
Durability of the Structure in Weather Conditions
Urban elements installed in open spaces are always exposed to intense sun, wind, and dust. In the Kerman project, according to the climatic conditions of this region, our entire focus was on ensuring the structure does not undergo color changes or quality loss after a few months.
Resistance to Sun and Dust
-
Body Color Stability: Special paints have been used for the metal coating that are completely resistant to Ultraviolet (UV) rays. This means that summer heat and direct sunlight do not cause the element’s color to become dull or peel.
-
Lasting Light Clarity: One of the problems with luminous elements in desert areas is the clouding of the LED strips due to dust. The body and lighting strips of this board are designed to block the path of dust penetration so that the brilliance of the strips remains exactly like the first day throughout the years.
-
High Temperature Tolerance: All electrical parts used in this project have been selected to work in high temperatures. This allows the lighting system to continue its work without overheating and burning, even on the hottest days of the year.
After-Sales Service and Support
We at Erfan Sanat are with you even after the project is installed. To ensure the peace of mind of our clients, all lighting strips used in this element have a 24-month unconditional warranty, and in case of any technical problems, our executive team acts in the shortest possible time to resolve it so your element does not stay off. In addition, we guarantee the sustainability of the project in the coming years by providing 5 years of after-sales service, so you have no concerns about service and maintenance. Finally, our after-sales service team is always ready to act as an expert consultant in new urban lighting projects, from the initial idea to cost estimation and precise execution of the work.
